Dr. Hegnauer is an In-Network Naturopathic Specialist for both Cigna and Harvard Pilgrim insurance providers. She also accepts Anthem individual plans and those insured under the Affordable Care Act via Anthem. Please note this does not include Anthem group plans.

Your coverage may require that you have a referral from your Primary Care Physician to see a specialist and would need to be completed prior to your first visit.

There are variations to coverage and confirming with your insurance provider would be necessary prior to your first visit. Please note the Insurance Benefits form on the website that will guide you through this process.

If your insurance coverage does not include Naturopathic Specialists, we are happy to provide you with an invoice with the necessary coding to submit to your insurance provider. You would need to follow up with your insurance company regarding the potential for reimbursement.

In addition, many Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Spending Accounts (HSA) can be used to cover the cost of specialty labs, supplements and appointments run through our office.
